At the
XIX International AIDS Conference, held in Washington D.C. from 22-27 July 2012,
Women Won’t Wait Campaign members presented part of the results of the
campaign’s 2011-2012 project for “Promoting the Integration of VAW in National HIV
Responses”, in the pre-conference Satellite Session organized by IAWC/Women
ARISE/FEIM/CHANGE: “Women and Girls Turning the Tide” on 22 July, and in
the panel discussion organized by Women Won’t Wait/FEIM/IAWC in the Women’s
Networking Zone of the Global Village: “Contributions for Integrating HIV &
Violence Against Women in National HIV Responses” on 23
July.
